| Where did we come from?
The history of the United Pentecostal Church is found in the first two chapters of the Book of Acts. This Church began on the Day of Pentecost. We still preach Repentance, and turning from sin. We still baptize in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of those sins. And
God is still pouring out the Gift of the Holy Ghost by the evidence of speaking with other tongues. The Spirit is falling on all ages, all races and nationalities. God never has been a respecter of persons and we all worship - together - like He intended us to! In Spirit and in Truth!
We believe in One God, and we believe that Jesus Christ was God manifested in the flesh.
The scriptures are clear on this matter:
Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead (Colossians 2:8-9)
Jesus is God manifest in flesh (I Timothy 3:16)
Jesus is the Father (John 14:7-10 Father inside-Son outside)
The Son is called the Everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6)
Jesus says He is the Holy Ghost (John 14:16-18)
Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of God (Romans 8:9)
The Holy Ghost is the Father (Matthew 1:18-20)
There is one Lord (Deut. 6:4, Eph. 4:5 Mark 12:29)
We baptize in Jesus Name, in obedience to Christs message in Matthew 28:19. The Name of the Father is Jesus. The Name of the Son is Jesus. The Name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus! Just like the Church in the book of Acts, we have seen the lame walk, the blind eyes opened, cancer healed, tumors disappear, and many more healings and miracles But the
most incredible miracles have been the changing of broken lives. Marriages have been restored, and homes mended. Wounded, hurting and abused people have been healed and
filled with the Holy Ghost. Drug addicted alcoholics have been cleansed and delivered, and are now preaching the Word of God with integrity! There is so much more we could tell you but seeing is believing. Let us welcome you with love in our eyes and understanding in our hearts. We have already been praying for you that God would lead you to us. YOU ARE AN ANSWERED PRAYER!
